Five Star Car Stereo Clearwater

Ok, added a kicker key 500.1 and Rockford Fosgate P3SD shallow sub. Amp is good, but sub crackles when you watch NETFLIX movies w/ bass …with only adjustments from shop. Blowing fuses… buddy of mine saw where it was rubbing on frame. All fixed though. Looking to upgrade to better twin 8 inch subs with upgraded wiring and amp.

I tried the rest, until I found the best. These guys are pros, they know what to do and how to do it right. The install looks great, works great, and most importantly sounds great. I appreciate professionalism, and even better they are friendly and patient. I attempted to give them 6 stars on this review but I was told that wasn’t possible. If you have a car then stop driving around like a jerk, and go get your ride hooked up. Highly recommend.

Drove from Tampa based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Worked with Paul on updating my old truck stereo. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Make the drive and get it done right.

Very disappointed. I need some work done on my truck. I was told I needed to change my working factory head unit to be able to get what I wanted done, the other 2 places I got quotes from never said I needed ti change the head unit, they actually told me they can make it work with what I have. Than came the best part, over $3K when everyone else was less then $1,200.00 for the same work. Perfect example of pricing a job because you either don't know how to do it or you don't want the job. I would have much more respect if I would've simply been told that they don't want to take the job on. Shame because the store looks pretty stocked up. I run a busniness myself and this is not how you gain new clients. Over $3,300 to install 2 amps that I'm providing, a box and the "required " head unit, no thanks. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Came to this place because the new car that I purchased had basic sound that came with the vehicle. So after talking to Paul, who was very patient with me being that, I am not a techy kinda person. After replacing a kicker in my vehicle, sound is so much better with much more base. Just what I wanted. This is my second time Doing business with them, years ago I had a vehicle that I wanted to upgrade my whole stereo system, they did amazing work then as well. I’ve gone to a few other places that I won’t mention that wanted to charge me almost double of what Five Star charged me. So if you’re looking for professional service and a place, that’s not going to try to sell you something that you don’t need. I would recommend Five Star Stereo on Gulf to Bay
